Reading List

I'm always looking for good books to read and love when I find a blog with recommendations and review. So I thought I'd return the favor. I'll try to be honest and realize there is nothing wrong with my girly books!

Books I've read in 2011:
-A Billion Reason Why by Kristin Billerbeck
I love Kristin's books. This one takes place in New Orleans and makes me ready to go live a year in NOLA.
-Savannah from Savannah
Eh, this book made me want to travel, too. The main character seemed slightly immature to me, so I had a hard time letting the book be realistic. However, it was entertaining and worth reading.
-Baby Proof by Emily Giffin
I really liked this one! Emily is so good at putting characters thoughts into words and causing you to relate and say, I know exactly what she means!
-Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin
I had a hard time reading this book since it's about a woman having an affair with her best friend's fiance. The author does a good job of making you empathize with the lady having the affair and it seems like the couple having the affair really do belong together. I can't wait for the movie to come out.
-Always the Baker Never the Bride by Sandra Bricker
I downloaded this one on my Kindle for a few bucks (it was a promotional price) and was pleased to find that the book was enjoyable. I still find myself thinking about these characters every now and then.
-The Help
This book opened my eyes to another world. A world of servants and do-gooders. I'll probably Netflix the movie once its out on DVD.

I'm reading:
-At Home by Bill Bryson
-The Book of Jane (which is a modern day tale of the Book of Job)
-Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream
