Rachel Ray gave me the idea. It's a trash bowl. As I cook, anything that I would normally run to the trash can for, I just throw it into the trash bowl that is one reach away. Rachel Ray sells a bowl specifically for this (for about $50!!). Geez, just use a big mixing bowl.
