Break my heart

The Houston Chronicle posted a photo gallery about a man who helped the homeless in place of his bachelor party. 

What really got me was this picture:

This guy's name is Thomas Rolen. To me, his face is full of despair and pain. I can only hope there is some kind of joy behind his pretty blue eyes. 

Since I've been working downtown, I see the homeless and realize they have no were to store their things, even if they had them. IF they get a winter coat in the winter, what do they do with it in the HOT summer? They can't carry everything!

How do I/we help? We have to have compassion. Imagine being in their situation. How seemingly hopeless?
