I thought it would be cool

I bought a fabric steamer thinking that I wouldn't have to iron anymore.

While steaming a shirt today, I accidently burned my finger. I was holding the bottom of the shirt with my left hand (fingers on the back side of the shirt) while steaming the front of the shirt. 

I now have a big and very painful blister that keeps getting bigger. I no longer want to use the steamer. I imagine myself leaning forward in front of the steam handle to grab something and burning my face...or a future kid getting ahold of the thing. 

I bought an oven mit to use with it, but I'm still slightly scared. I might sell it online or take it back. I know that is bad because it works just fine, but I think being scared of it is reason enough to take it back.
