This year I will go kayaking at sunrise.

Just thinking of being on the smooth water, inches from the surface, with the coolness all around and the sun peeking its way above the water nearly gives me chills.

I don't know when I'm going to do it, or who will be there with me. But I do know, I will have to stop and praise (Be still and know that [He] is God. -Psalm 46:10).

I just finished the amazing book Crazy Love by Francis Chan. You should read it. Seriously. Ok.

In the book, Francis quotes Annie Dillard saying, "How we live our days is ... how we live our lives."

I want this early morning trip to be a part of how I live my life.
