Making a decision

I can not make big decisions. I freak out!

I have been wanting a new (used) car. I know that I don't NEED one, but I really want one.

How do I make the leap? Or should I keep with my free Jeep?
I get so stressed over this. I can't imagine buying a HOUSE!

Save the money in the amount of a car payment until you can pay cash for a car! It will save you lots of money. And you said you don't "NEED" one yet. :)

I want to sell my Jeep and that should pay for most (75%) of the car I am wanting. I already have 25% of it ready for a down payment. The only worry is that I'll be buying something used and I worry about dependability. "Did someone trade this car in b/c it was a piece of tofu?"

Teresa, how are you by the way? Your profile pic is cute!

i bought my volvo used (1 year old) and have had no problems with it so far. every car is different but if you buy from a used dealership you can feel more comfortable. also, make sure they give you a report of the previous owners, any accidents it's been in/major repairs, and why the previous owners sold the car. they should do this but make SURE they do! it makes you feel better. i saw the volvo picture...is that what you're wanting?!?? i LOVE mine...you can test drive her anytime you want. :)

Thanks, Amanda!

I saw a white Volvo S40 the other day on the road and realized how much I really liked the S40. I test drove the car in the picture and was disappointed with it's acceleration.

I guess I need to be looking for one with a turbo.
Other than the S40, I also really like the Murano, and the new Santa Fe.
