Enjoy yourself

"Enjoy yourself. It's later than you think." --Chinese proverb

Lately, I've been struggling with enjoying my time. I am super tired when I get home from work so I don't enjoy that time. Then when the weekend comes, I'm tired and already dreading the work week, AND thinking of all of the things I need to do before Monday.

But this proverb reminds me of all of the times when I have really had fun, but only to realize the party is over. Prom was like that for me. I was afraid to dance so I sat there, not having fun. Then I danced and had a great time, only to realize it was almost over.

So to be metaphoric, life is prom. Dance as soon as you get there!
